New Baby, Take Two

I am of course referring to the baby mentioned in this post, latterly mentioned here and here as a result of mysterious technological failure.

After going to and from Korg via Forsyths with no explanation as to what could possibly be wrong, and then sitting quietly in the house for a few weeks, it was acting up again. The night before the Big Green Festival I got it out just to reassure myself that all was well, and several keys would not play. (Insert string of barely perceptible expletives here.) Then, minutes later, they did play.

The instrument played fine each time I attempted it overnight, and so I decided it would be ok for the gig - and it was (thank you piano gods). However, I probably have enough adventure in my life without adding a fickle piano to my list of unknowns. So, Forsyths switched it out for a new one. I am now the proud owner of a (fully functional) Korg digital piano. Again. This time (hopefully) sans gremlins.
